Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Verbatrum (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website verbatrum.com and the tools available on it. By using Verbatrum you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Verbatrum provides AI-assisted content generation tools. Every account receives 20 free credits per calendar month. Credits are consumed when you run a generation (1–2 per run depending on complexity). Extracting a YouTube transcript is always free (0 credits). Credits do not carry over between months and have no cash value.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. We use passwordless magic-link sign-in and Google OAuth — we never store passwords. One account per person; do not share accounts.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the service to generate spam, misinformation, or content that violates any applicable law; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our systems; (c) resell or redistribute outputs as a standalone service without our written permission; (d) circumvent rate limits or credit metering; (e) upload or submit content you do not have the right to use.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you paste in (posts, transcripts, notes). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of delivering the service. We do not store your raw inputs beyond what is needed for the immediate request, and we do not use your inputs to train models.
6. AI-generated outputs
Outputs are AI-generated. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to publish outputs. Do not rely on outputs for legal, medical, financial, or safety decisions.
7. Availability
We provide the service “as is” and without warranty. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes.
8. Payments (future)
Paid plans are not yet available. When they are introduced, additional terms will apply. We will never charge your card without explicit consent.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verbatrum is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
